“Just The Florals” was born in 2020, with a wonderful project that I did for Netflix.
At the time, the floral-ness of the Netflix project felt like happenstance. In reality, it was a decisive nudge toward the deep awe that I’ve always had for the vitality of flowers (that I hadn’t yet explored as subject matter for painting).
