Acrylic on Canvas, 36x48in, 2020.

“I started this painting in late February, just before Covid got bad in the US. It took on many different forms as I worked out what it was supposed to be. In some ways, it was the container for all the unraveling and rebuilding of this summer.”
Some notes from the side of the canvas: “Summer 2020 - Chaos Discomfort Whiteness Growth Breadth Complexity ... Letting go of the idea of ‘Center’.”
